It was not easy for the race officer to make a sailable course at the Austrian Nationals (and Eurocup Nr. 3) on Mondsee. The 19 teams (AUT, GER, USA) had a lot of towing round the lake, wind coming and passing. At the end it was possible to sail 6 races on Friday & Saturday with a breeze from north in the evening. There were two winners: The series was dominated by Alex Morgenstern and Peter Kern, who won three races and were clearly afront, followed by Erlacher/Wöhrer and Schäfer/Trimpl. With the 5th place in general Frank Schimak and Philip Kotrba won the Austrian Championships. For Frank it was the second title, but the first with his longtime crew Philip.
